EverAfter Oaks
This mansion hosted many gala events for the most elusive members of MagicTown society, but rest assured...all have been sent back to from whence they came.

In other words, 90 Creepy Hollow. §16,208 + 1000 MagiCoins. MagiCoins must've been worth a lot of money, because the Sims 2 version of this house passed the magical §150.000,-. Anyway. You cannot enter the residential lots in MagicTown unless you have a Sim who has the acquired amount of money ánd MagiCoins. For all people who play the Sims 1 or use it as reference or inspiration; you should check out CTOcassions. They're a really friendly group of active Sims 1 players - I have played actively Sims 1 for a couple of months on my old laptop - and it was there where I found a "cheatchair". Every time your sim sat in it, you gained 135 (around that amount) of MagiCoins so I could easily enter the house. Enough about that. Pictures!

This house was pretty difficult to build, and impossible to decorate. I cheated and moved one door from its original place. It has many strange angles and the pillars were ridiculous looking at first, but I tried and I think the outside's pretty decent now. The pictures are not taken in my MagicTown hood - all those trees grmbl - so it looks a bit empty.

In the teaser you saw the house in all its dark glory, but since this is a house and not a community lot, we'll continue the rest of the tour in daylight. Much easier to see that way. xD

There's a football goal and a dartboard outside.I kinda failed to screenshot the goal, but it's located on the left side of the house.

We take the back door and walk right into the pretty flowery kitchen. Despite this house being in MagicTown, it didn't have a spooky feel. A lot of light colours were used in the original version and that's why the interior looks pretty normal.

The living room. (And Bella!)

The bathroom. There's only one bathroom, but there's a room in this house upstairs you could use as a bathroom as well.

Probably one of the two rooms where those gala events were being held. xD This is a creativity room / lounge room. As you can see I've left space for an eventual pet. Also don't ask me about the vases, I had a silly moment.

Left there's a door with a little bedroom. It has two beds (only one's pictured) and that's about it. The room itself is really small and I figured the children have probably slept in there (although the wallpaper in that room in the Sims 1 is the creepiest of the whole house).

But kids are kids, magical or not and they want a place to play, so I gave them a play room. This is the room you could easily remake into a bathroom (there's room next left to the piano to place a door as well).

And the master bedroom, where I - again - had to cope with stupid angles. Because of all these angles, I took an overview from all the rooms.

And finally...

Download EverAfter Oaks As usual, CC free, all EPs and SPs needed.

I'm on a third! I was really hoping to finish the other six lots and the hood before 2012, but.. I'm slower than I thought. I'm sorry. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the house and next time I'm going to do a community lot again, hehehe. :3

This is such a good idea to makeover this hood! Gosh those pictures really make me want to play TS1 again! Love the job you did on this remake. It's gorgeous and still keeps that Magic Town creepy feeling. Love it!

Awesome, Voleste, I love your attention to detail, I can definitely make this a historical tourist community lot and have sims stay here for days!
